DHAKA: Indira Gandhi Cultural centre (IGCC) will organize a talk by Dr. C. Raja Mohan on “India-Bangladesh: Building the Bay of Bengal Community” as part of the IGCC Guest Lecture Series on June 12.
Dr. C. Raja Mohan is one of India’s foremost strategic thinkers and commentators.
He is currently Head of Strategic Studies and Distinguished Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation in New Delhi.
Dr. Raja Mohan is a foreign affairs columnist for The Indian Express newspaper, a Visiting Research Professor at the Institute of South Asian Studies, Singapore, and a Non-Resident Senior Associate at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Washington DC.
He is currently a member of India’s National Security Advisory Board (NSAB). Dr. Raja Mohan has also been the Diplomatic Editor and the Washington Correspondent of The Hindu and the Strategic Affairs Editor of The Indian Express.
Ambassador Humayun Kabir, Vice President, Bangladesh Enterprise Institute will moderate the discussion. Brig Gen (Retd) Shahedul Anam Khan, Editor, Op-ed and Defence and Strategic Affairs, the Daily Star will be the discussant.
