BAGERHAT: Two persons were killed in crane accident in Harbari area under Mongla Pashur Channel of the district on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Zakir, 35 and Matin, 37.
Confirming the matter to banglanews, Mongla Stevedores leader HM Dulal said that the incident took place on early morning.
“At around 8:00am, crane’s hook of a commercial ship torn with goods, leaving two workers dead on the spot,” he added.
