DHAKA: Cultural Minister Asaduzzaman Noor expressed deep shock at the death of eminent philosopher and educationist Sardar Fazlul Karim. 

In a condolence message, the cultural minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed her profound sympathy to the bereaved family. 

Besides, Cultural Secretary Dr Ranjit Kumar Biswas also expressed deep sympathy for the family. 

Earlier, Noted essayist, philosopher, columnist and littérateur Sardar Fazlul Karim, 89, breathed his last at capital’s Samarita Hospital at 12:45am Sunday.  

He was a former teacher of Dhaka and Jahangirnagar University and had been suffering from various old-age complications.
