NARAYANGANJ: Miscreants slaughtered a murder case accused in Sonargaon upazila of the district on Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Sadhan Mia, 30, accused of Pirojpur Union Juba League leader Rippin killing case, and son of Fazlu Mia of Kandarpar area.

Confirming the matter, Sonargaon Thana Inspector (investigation) Rafiqul Islam said that Sadhan went missing from Saturday night. Then police recovered the slaughtered body from Kandarpar Balurmath of Pirojpur union on Monday morning. 

Later, the body was sent to Narayanganj General Hospital for autopsy, he added.

Earlier on June 7, 2012, following a dispute over establishing supremacy, Ripon was chopped to death by miscreants.
