TONGI: An 8-year old minor girl was killed after a wall of a school collapsed upon her in Faydabad area of Dakkhinkhan Thana in capital on Monday.

The deceased was Rakiba, daughter of Ripon Mia of the area and student of Faydabad Primary School.

Sources said a wall of Faydabad Model High School fell upon Rakiba while she was returning from her school in the morning.

Sub-Inspector Mannan of Dakkhinkhan Thana confirming the matter said the school authority was trying to compromise with the victim’s parents over the accident.
