DHAKA: Muggers snatched Tk 6 lakh from a travel agency worker and shot him in Mughda area of the city on Tuesday afternoon. 

The victim was identified as Rubel Haque, resident of city’s old part Narinda. 

Mugda Thana sub-inspector Sazzad Hossain said some muggers shot Rubel and snatched Tk 6 lakh in Mugda Bus Stand area. A rickshaw puller was also injured by the bullet during the incident. 

Rubel sustained three bullet hit at his leg and waist. He was rushed to nearest Khidmah hospital and later shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital as his condition was deteriorating, he added.
