NILPHAMARI: At least two persons were killed and five others injured in a road accident in Kishoreganj upazila of the district on Saturday noon.

One of the deceased was identified as Akbar Ali, 55. 

Locals said that a rashly driven bus rammed an ambulance, which was carrying patient along with relatives, on Kishoreganj-Taraganj road at Dharerbazar, leaving one killed on the spot and five others injured.   

The injured were rushed to Rangpur Medical College Hospital where one of the victims succumbed to his injuries.

Kishoreganj Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Shah Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
