SIRAJGANJ: Two masons were killed in septic tank gas poisoning incident in Belkuchhi upazila at 11am Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Babu Sheikh, 23 and Shahidul Islam, 29.

Locals said that the duo got down into the tank to clean it and died inhaling poisonous gas in the tank.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Officer-in-Charge of Belkuchhi Thana Abdul Hie Sarkar said that police rushed to the spot soon after the incident and handed over the bodies to their families.
