DHAKA: Emdadul Haque Lal of MTnews24.com and Moshihur Rahman of Bangla daily Dinkal on Thursday were elected as president and general sectary respectively of Dhaka Court Reporters’ Association (DCRA).

The election for the DCRA’s executive committee for 2014-15 session was held at the association office at the old building of Dhaka District Judge Court on the day.

Association chief election commissioner, also Dhaka Bar Association GS, Mosleh Uddin announced the poll results.

The other office bearers are Mahabubul Haque of daily Sangbad (vice-president), M Moniruzzaman Hawkadar of The New Nation (join-GS), Mobinul Islam of banglanews24.com (treasurer), and Shah Zaman Firoz Tuhin of Bangladesh Pratidin (office and publicity secretary).

The elected committee members are Prakash Ranjan Bishwas of bdnews24.com, Robiul Islam of New Age and Hafiz Uddin of daily Amar Kagaj.
