SAVAR, DHAKA: Three people were killed and ten others injured in a head-on-collision between a bus and a truck in Srirampur of Dhamrai upazila of the district on Monday morning.

The deceased were identified as Sirajul Islam, 35, Kawsar, 28 and Biswajit, 26.

Sources said that a Dhaka-bound passenger bus collided head-on a truck in the area around 9:30am, leaving two passengers of the bus dead on the spot and injured 10 others.

Later, police sent the injured to locals hospital where another died on the way to hospital.

Dhamrai Thana Officer-in-Charge Firoz Talukdar confirmed the matter to banglanews.
