DHAKA: Liberation War Affairs Ministry has cancelled Freedom Fighter certificate and gazette of 35 government employees. 

The ministry issued a notification in this regard on Monday.

Liberation War Affairs Ministry deputy secretary M Salimullah signed in the notification as per the 1996 schedule-1 (allocation of business) of rules of business.

Of the employees, some 30 certificates were canceled on basis of NSI report, two as per deputy commissioner report, one for under age and one for keeping double certificates.

Earlier, the ministry had canceled gazette and certificate of 116 Freedom Fighters.
