KUSHTIA: Divers have recovered three more bodies, including that of a 3-year-old girl Keya, from the Raita confluence of the Padma River in Daulatpur of the district early Thursday.
Earlier on Wednesday evening, divers recovered another body of a woman who was identified as Mala Akhter Poly, 25, mother of Keya, from Enayetpur area of Kumarkhali upazila of the district.
Mala’s uncle Bulbul identified the bodies.
Deputy Commissioner Syed Belal Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Divers have recovered a total of four bodies so far.
On the eid day, 15 people went missing as an engine-run boat drowned due to strong current.
BGB and Police personnel and professional divers with the help of local people have been conducting the rescue operation.
