DHAKA: A minor female domestic help died after she fell down from the roof of a four-storey building in Dakkhin Mugda area of the city on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Sharifa, 12, daughter of Harmuz Ali of Mymensingh, who worked as a domestic help at a house in the area.

Her employer told banglanews: “Sharifa went on the roof of house to bring the dry clothes. All of sudden, she fell down from there and locals people informed us. We brought her to a local hospital.”

Later, she was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctor declared her dead at 7:00pm.

Hospital police camp In-Charge assistance sub-inspector Hayder Ali confirmed the matter to banglanews.
