DHAKA: Singer Nancy, who attempted to commit suicide by taking 60 sleeping pills, has been shifted to Labaid Hospital at Dhanmondi in the city on Sunday noon.

Sources told banglanews that Nancy’s husband Jayed and her younger brother Jony with other relatives shifted her to the hospital for better treatment.

Earlier, she had been shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) form Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

However, she is now out of danger and undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital till filing the report.

Earlier, a rumor spread around 8:00pm Saturday that country’s one of the popular singers, Nazmun Munira Nancy, attempted to commit suicide taking sleeping pills over family feud at her Netrokona residence.

Of course, her husband denied the possibilities of Nancy’s suicide and told banglanews that nothing happened like that though the statement was proved false just after a few moments.

At around 9:00pm, an ambulance rushed the leading singer to the Mymensingh Medical College Hospital in a critical condition.
