DHAKA: A case was filed with Sher-e-bangla Nagar Thana over the killing incident of Channel I program presenter Maulana Nurul Islam Faruqui.

Victim’s son Faisal Faruqui filed the case early Thursday. 

The case number was 27.

Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Thana Police Inspector (Investigation) Munshi Sabbir Ahmed confirmed the matter. 

Sub-Inspector of the Thana Jahangir Hossain told banglanews three people were brought to Thana and they are being interrogated. 

Earlier on Wednesday, miscreants stabbed the program presenter of Channel I, one of the leading private television channels of the country, to death at East Rajabazar in the city.
