DHAKA: Home Affairs State Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has visited the spot, Moghbazar area of the city where three people were killed and another sustained bullet injury as miscreants shot them centering longstanding dispute on Thursday night.

The State Minister rushed to the spot around 10:15pm, along with Inspector General of Bangladesh Police (IGP) Hasan Mahmud Khandaker and other top level officials of police.

Answering a question of the journalists Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that the recent killing incidents of Wednesday and Thursday are sporadic incidents.

He also said that the situation is still under the control of the law enforcement agencies.

He further said that the motives of the killings and identity of the killers will be unveiled shortly. The miscreants will be found and brought under law, he added.

IGP Hasan Mahmud Khandaker said that we have started the investigation in this connection and the mystery of the killings will be disclosed soon.

Confirming the matter to banglanews Officer-in-Charge of Ramna Thana Mashiur Rahman said that a gang of miscreants entered into a house of the area and shot them indiscriminately around 8:15pm in the area over constructing a boundary wall.

On the other hand, earlier on Wednesday night, miscreants stabbed Maulana Nurul Islam Faruqui, the program presenter of Channel I, one of the leading private television channels of the country, to death at East Rajabazar in the city.
