DHAKA: An unidentified sexagenarian man was run over by a bus in Rayerbagh area of Jatrabari in the city on Sunday morning.

Pedestrian M Sohrab Hossain told banglanews, “A passenger bus hit the man while he was crossing road in the area at 9:00am, leaving him critically injured.”

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctor declared him dead.

The body has been kept in the hospital morgue.
