DHAKA: A member of Bangladesh Ansar sustained bullet injuries on his right leg in city’s Naya Bazar area on Monday afternoon.

The victim was identified as Anis, a member of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP.

Police sources said Anis was shot at his right leg in the area around 4:45pm.

He was rushed to Metropolitan Hospital. However, the details about the incident could not be known immediately, sources added.

Sub-Inspector of Bangshal Thana Nazimuddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
