DHAKA: A case was filed with Khilgaon Thana over the killing incident of Saimon in city. 

Victim’s uncle Muzibur Rahman filed the case on Friday evening.   

Khilgaon Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Liakat Ali confirmed the matter to banglanews. 

Earlier on Thursday night, a gang of miscreants shot dead a youth and his father sustained bullet injury in city’s Khilgaon area and snatched Tk 48 lakh.  

Following the matter Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) withdrew Sirajul Islam, the Officer-in-Charge of Khilgaon Thana, for his negligence in discharging duties.
