DHAKA: A woman was found dead in Kafrul area of the capital on Thursday noon.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sources said a couple had rented a room on September 1, but they were not seen in the house for past three days.

The owner of the house informed the police about the matter as the room was locked for past three days and a bad smell came out.

On information, police recovered the decomposed body after they broke the door of the room at the noon.

Officer-in-Charge of Kafrul Thana Abdul Qaiyum confirmed the matter to banglanews.
