DHAKA: Two people were crushed under the wheels of a tamping engine train in Ghorakhali area under Madhukhali upazila of the district on Tuesday night.

The deceased were identified as Rabeya Begum, 45 and Faruq, 40.

Witnesses said Rabeya and Faruq were crushed under the wheels of the train while they were crossing the track in the area around 8:30pm.

Madhukhali Railway Station Master Moslem Uddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
