DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left London for home on Wednesday evening after her two-day travel break.
A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG-061 carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage left London Heathrow Airport for home at 6:50pm.
The aircraft is expected to land at Sylhet Airport at 8.40am.
After her one-hour stay in Sylhet, the flight left for Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
Newly appointed Bangladesh High Commissioner to UK M Abdul Hannan, Deputy High Commissioner Khandaker M Talha, president of UK unit Awami League Sultan Sharif, Vice-president Jalal Uddin, general secretary Syed Faruq among others, saw off the Premier at Heathrow Airport.
Biman’s Country Manager Atik Chishti confirmed the matter to banglanews.
