DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hold a press conference Friday afternoon to brief the media about the outcome of her attending United Nations General Assembly from September 22- 29.

Sources concerned said the press briefing will be held at Gono Bhaban, official resident of the PM, at 4:00pm.

Sheikh Hasina returned home on Thursday after joining UNGA in New York and short stopover in London.

Earlier on September 22, Hasina reached New York with 184-member delegation to join the UNGA.

During the visit, she attended Climate Conference, reception hosted by US president Barack Obama, a reception hosted by UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon, a high-level discussion of the Global Education First Initiative, discussion of the Commonwealth heads of the government, a summit on ‘The International Peacekeeping Operation’.

She also had a meeting with her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.
