SIRAJGANJ: A 20-killometer-long traffic gridlock on the Bangabandhu Bridge link road (west) pushed hundreds of passengers into serious sufferings from early Saturday into morning.

Sources said the 20-km tailback started from Bangabandhu Bridge link road (west) intersection to Hatikumrul intersection as a Hanif Paribahan passenger bus and a goods-carrying truck went out of service at Nalka and Kodda areas of the district.

Hatikumrul Highway Thana Sergeant Iqbal Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
