DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has greeted the nation as well as the Muslim Ummah on the festival of Eid-ul-Azha that falls on Monday in the country.

The Prime Minister, in her greeting message, said that the unique example set by Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) by sacrificing his dearest son for the satisfaction of Allah will be honored and followed forever.

"With spirit of the festival, the capable Muslims will ensure equality for all and practice compassion by distributing meat of their sacrificial animals among relatives and neighbors," she hoped.

The premier called upon the people to build a happy, peaceful and prosperous Bangladesh that will be free from discrimination by involving in people-welfare based activities as well as realizing the spirit of Eid-ul-Azha.
