SYDNEY (AUSTRALIA): Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus arrived in Sydney Wednesday to attend international conference and exhibition there.
During his visit, Yunus will meet with several Australian ministers and government high officials including Federal Minster for Social Services and Parliamentary Secretary for Social Services Affairs to the Australia Prime Minister.
He will also hold discussions with the teachers of the country’s leading universities’ teachers and the top executives of different multinational companies there.
Yunus will deliver the keynote speech at Focusing People’s Architecture, a week long international conference and exhibition organized by Bangladeshi Architects in Australia (BaA).
Focusing People’s Architecture” is continuation of the ongoing series of Architectural seminars and exhibitions in Australia hosted by the BaA, in partnerships with the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA), Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB) and the Bangladesh High Commission in Australia over last five years.
The event will kick off in Sydney on Thursday and will continue there for the following two days – October 10 and October 11. It will be moved to Canberra for the concluding sessions from October 12 to 14 October.
Senior government executives, head of corporate sectors, Architects, Engineers, Doctors, Academics, Scientists, and Diplomats from across Australia and overseas are expected to attend the event.
