NOAKHALI: Four people were killed and two others injured in a road crash in Junudpur pool area in Joyag union under Sonaimuri Upazila of the district on Monday night.
Of the deceased, three were identified as Mizanur Rahman, 42, Suman, 35, son of one Salek Ahmed, Emran Hossain, 34, son of one Abdul Latif.
Locals said that a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided with a passenger-bus in the area around 9:00pm, leaving the four dead on the spot.
The injured two were sent to Sonaimuri Upazila Health Complex.
Officer-in-Charge of Sonaimuri Thana Ashraful Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
