GOPALGANJ: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-8 personnel detained a fired man of Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB) from Chandibardi village under Muksudpur Upazila of the district on Sunday night.

The detainees is – Nazrul Islam, 48, so of Samsul Islam.

Confirming the matter RAB-8 commander Noor-e-Alam told banglanews that acting on a tip off law enforcers detained him from the area around 10:30pm.

Meanwhile, a one shooter gun and Tk 3,950 fake notes were recovered from the man, he added.
