Sher-e-Bangla Thana OC suspended, SI held

DHAKA: Police Headquarters on Wednesday suspended the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sher-e-Bangla Thana and arrested its sub-inspector (SI) for opening fire on a businessman to prove him a terrorist.

Deputy commissioner Biplab Kumar Sarkar of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Tejgaon Zone confirmed the matter to banglanews.
