DHAKA: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel recovered 50,000 pieces of yaba tablets worth of Tk 1.5 crore from the area adjacent to Naf River under Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar early Sunday. 

Confirming the matter, BGB Headquarters’ public relations officer Mahsin Reza told banglanews that acting on a tip off, law enforcers, in a drive, seized the consignment of yaba tablets around 3:30am. 

No one was held in this connection, he added.
