DHAKA: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Tuesday approved five new projects involving Tk 1,535 crore.

The approval came from a meeting held at the NEC conference room in the city’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar with ECNEC chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

Of the total cost of Tk 1,535 crore, the government will provide Tk 1,491 crore.
