NARAYANGANJ: Two Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel gave confessional statement before the court over senseational Narayanganj 7-murder case.

They disclosed the number of RAB personnel participated in kidnapping and killing of seven persons including Narayanganj City Corporation paenl mayot Nazrul Islam and lawyer Chandan Sarker.

Former RAB-11 Crime Preventional Special Company DAD M Atiur Rahman and DAD of Adamjee Headquarters of RAB-11 M Selim Khan gave the statement to Narayanganj Judicial Magistrate Saiduzzaman Sharif Wednesday afternoon.

Officer-in-Charge of Narayanganj Detective Branch (DB) Police Mamunur Rasid Mandal, IO of sensational 7-murder, said DAD M Selim Khan and DAD M Atiur Rahman were in-charge of distributing duties at Adamjee office and at Old Court area office.

He also said they informed the court who were on duty with Major Arif Hossain and Lieutenant Commander MM Rana while the murder.

On April 30, Narayanganj City Corporation Councilor Nazrul Islam, senior lawyer Chandan Kumar Sarkar and five others were found dead floating on River Shitalkkhya after 3-day of their abduction.
