DHAKA: The depression over westcentral Bay and adjoining eastcentral Bay has been weakened into a well-marked low over westcentral Bay and adjoining area

However, it has moved westwards at 12:00noon on Saturday, a Bangladesh Meteorology Department bulletin said.

According to the bulletin, the depression is likely to move in a west-northwesterly direction and weaken gradually.

The department further advised the maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra to lower the signal.
