CHANDPUR: A Daffodil University student Rakib Hossain was killed after his motorcycle hit a van in Baburhat Chhoiyal Bari area of Candpur town on Monday.

Rakib, son of Anwar Hossain Khan of the area, met with the accident around 9:30am.

Locals told banglanews that Rakib was roaming on the motorcycle in the area. At one stage, he lost his control and hit a van and then fell down on the street.

He was injured critically in this mishap.

Locals rushed Rakib to Chandpur Government General Hospital where on-duty doctor declared him dead.

Chandpur Sadar Model Thana Officer-in-Charge Abdul Kaium confirmed the matter to banglanews.
