DHAKA: The non-permanent staff of Dhaka Power Distribution Company (DPDC) on Monday held a protest rally to meet their 20-point demands, including job nationalization.

The employees started their program in front of Bidyut Bhaban around 10:30am.

Moreover, ruling Awami League’s labor wing Sramik League tuned unity with them after an hour.

DPDC unit Sramik League president Fazlul Haque chaired the program where Sramik League president Shukur Mahamud, Awami League labor affairs secretary Habibur Rahman Siraj and DPDC Sramik League general secretary Sirajul Islam vowed to achieve their demands.
