DHAKA: Miscreants stabbed three people and snatched Tk one lakh from them at Kafrul area in city on Thursday night.

The victims, identified as Jalaluddin (24), Sumon (18) and Nurul Islam (50), were locals of East Shewrapara.

They were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Jalaluddin said that a gang of six persons entered his shop forcefully and stared stabbing indiscriminately and tried to flee snatching Taka one lakh.

Listening to his loud shouts, another shopkeeper Sumon and a local Nurul Islam rushed to help him. Then the miscreants also stabbed both of them.

Confirming the incident, Kafrul Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Qaiyum told banglanews that they had immediately held one in this connection.
