THAKURGAON: At least three persons were killed and three others injured in a road crash on Thakurgaon-Panchagarh highway in Bhulli area under Sadar upazila on Sunday morning.

The deceased were identified as Montu, 22, Habib, 26, and Juran, 30. All of them hailed from Lauthupi village of the district.

A night coach passenger bus knocked down a Nasiman, a locally-made human hauler, in the area around 6:30am while overtaking, leaving the casualties, said witnesses.

The injured were rushed to a local hospital.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Thakurgaon Sadar Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mehedi Hasan said police, on information, rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.
