DHAKA: The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has been quizzing MP Mahbubur Rahman of Patuakhali-4, also ex-state minister for Water Resources over acquiring wealth illegally.
Deputy Director Farid Ahmed Patwari of ACC has been grilling at its headquarters in city’s Segun Bagicha on Wednesday.
The ACC sources confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Earlier on August 22, the ACC filed a case against Mahbubur Rahman for obtaining wealth worth about Tk 5.20 crore.
According to the Election Commission statement, her land amount increased 143 times in five years of grand alliance government.
His bank amount increased 586 times and yearly income 79 times.
