DHAKA: A mobile court conducted by Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) sent 31 members of agyan (dope) party for different terms.
Executive magistrates of two mobile courts Abdul Kuddus and M Sarwar Alam passed the order on early Thursday.
DMP joint commissioner Monirul Islam made the disclosure while talking to journalists in a press briefing in its media centre on Thursday noon.
Earlier, Detective Branch (DB) of police detained 31 members of agyan (dope) party raiding in different areas of the capital in overnight drives on Wednesday.
Police also recovered huge amounts of doping materials from their possession.
Joint commissioner Monirul said the law enforcers detained Mizanur along with 741 tablets conducting the drive in Gausia Pharmacy in Fakirapool area.
After getting information from Mizanur, police detained others from Fakirapool, Gulistan, Kamlapur, Mohakhali and Mirpur areas.
