RAB collect info of 40,000 criminals

DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has collected information of 40 thousand criminals.

Moreover, the elite force has also collected details of them who are now under custody of law enforcers.

RAB officials disclosed the matter on Thursday morning at the inaugural session of the Criminal Database Management System at the battalion’s headquarters in city.

The state minister for home affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal at the event said that the law enforcers are gradually being updated as the types of crimes regularly being changed.

He moreover added that the lawbreakers will be detained from now on as quick as possible as the law enforcers have their details.

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Hasan Mahmud Khandaker and RAB director general (DG) Mokhlesur Rahman, among others, were also present at the program.
