DHAKA: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Tuesday approved nine projects involving Tk 7,900 crore.

The approval came from the ECNEC meeting held at the NEC conference room in the city’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar with its chairperson Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

After the meeting, Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal told the matter to the reporters.

Sources said among the total projects expenditure the government would finance Tk 5436.52 crore, Tk 2278.19 crore will come from project aid and Tk 185.39 crore from donor agency.
