DHAKA: Ferry services on Mawa-Kawrakandi route on the River Padma resumed in Thursday morning after a 12-hour suspension due to poor visibility caused by dense fog.

Then authorities were forced to halt the movement all kinds of ferries at 9:00pm Wednesday.

Ferry began plying at 9:00am on Thursday. All anchored ferries left for the respective destination.
