DHAKA: The 2nd working day of first session of Jatiya Sangsad (JS) of this year began on Tuesday.

The session, chaired by speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, started with star marks question of ministers around 4:40pm.

After that, the Members of Parliament (MPs) from both government and opposition joined a general discussion on President Abdul Hamid’s speech.

Earlier on Monday, the fifth session of the 10th parliament began.

The first session of the 10th parliament commenced on January 29, 2014 after January 5 elections, boycotted by BNP-Jamaat alliance.

However, the fourth JS session ended on November 30.
