KISHOREGANJ:  Three people were killed and 30 others injured in road accident in Agarpur area under Kuliarchar upazila of the district early Saturday. 

Two of the deceased were identified as Umeda Begum, 52, wife of late Abdul Mannan, Jasim Uddin, 60, son of late Dulal Mia.   

Police said a Habiganj-bound bus from Mymensingh plunged into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over the steering in the area around 12:30am, leaving three dead on the spot and injured others.

The injured were rushed to different nearby hospitals.

Kuliarchar thana officer-in-charge Chowdhury Mizanuzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
