DHAKA: REHAB Winter Fair-2014, a five-day exposition of real estate and housing services, will begin Wednesday (December 24) at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in the capital.
Fair standing committee chairman Rabiul Haque made the disclosure at a press conference at the National Press Club on Friday morning.
He also told journalists that there will be a total of 163 stalls, including 13 co-sponsors’ pavilions at the exposition.
The co-sponsors of the fair are Amin Mohammad Foundation Ltd, Assurance Developments, Comfort Homes, Comprehensive Holdings, Concord Real Estate & Building Products, Dom Inno Builders, Eastern Housing, Genetic, Ideal Real Estate, Navana Real Estate, Rakeen Development Company (BD), Rupayan Housing Estate and Shamsul Alamin Real Estate Ltd.
The fair standing committee chairman added that this will be the 14th initiative of REHAB in Dhaka, after 13 previous successful events along with eight in Chittagong, 12 in USA and each at UK, Dubai, Italy, Canada and Sydney.
He added: “The participating organizations will show-case their authorities concerned approved projects there for display and sell.”
“But, a full time vigilance team, formed by REHAB in cooperation with the Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK), will monitor the fair to prevent of presenting any unapproved project there,” the newsmen were told.
The entry fee of the exposition, which will remain open from 10:00am to 9:00pm everyday till December 28, will be Tk 50 (single) and Tk 100 (multiple).
There will also be a raffle draw and the 1st prize winner will get a 42 inch LED Television on entry tickets.
