DHAKA: The government will ask bidders in January next year to submit proposals to build another awaited project ‘Metro Rail’ in a bid to reduce sufferings of city dwellers.

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader came up with the disclosure while addressing a program at Home Economics College in the capital on Sunday.

He also said, Padma Bridge is no longer a dream, it’s a reality now.
