KOLKATA: Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid, who is on a six-day official visit to India, is set to visit Kolkata from Delhi on Monday.
Sources told banglanews that he will stay there at a hotel.
West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi is hosting a dinner at evening in honor of Bangladesh President, sources added. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will also attend the program.
State’s important persons, including opposition leader Surjo Kanto Mishra, Chief Justice of Kolkata High Court Manjula Chellur and home secretary Basudeb Banerjee, will also meet Bangladesh President.
However, Abdul Hamid will also visit Santiniketan on Tuesday.
The President reached India on December 18 at the invitation of his counterpart Pranab Mukherjee.
