DHAKA: Four people were crushed under wheels of separate trains at different places of the city between Sunday morning and Monday noon. 

Identity of the victims --two men and two women--could not be known immediately.

Railway thana officer-on-charge Abdul Majid told banglanews that a person was hit by a train in city’s Doyaganj area at 9:30am Sunday.

Two others were crushed under trains at Peyarabag of Moghbazar and middle point of Airport and Cantonment from 9:30am to 1:00pm Monday.

Another train-accident victim succumbed to his injuries at Kurmitola Hospital.

The bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
