NARAYANGANJ: Another Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) man gave confessional statement before the court over sensational Narayanganj 7-murder case. 

Former army personnel of RAB-11 Asaduzzaman gave the statement separately in two cases from Thursday morning to afternoon before the court of Narayanganj Senior Judicial Magistrates KM Mohiuddin and Manwara Begum.

Earlier on Sunday, Asaduzzaman was placed a seven-day remand for interrogation.

Officer-in-Charge Mamunur Rashid of district DB and also investigation officer of the case said the RAB man gave the statement in two separate cases filed by victims Narayanganj City Corporation Councilor Nazrul Islam’s wife Selina Islam Beauty and Advocate Chandan Sarkar’s son-in-law Bijay Kumar Paul.

On April 30, Narayanganj City Corporation Councilor Nazrul Islam, senior lawyer Chandan Kumar Sarkar and five others were found dead floating on River Shitalkkhya after 3-day of their abduction.
