JHENAIDAH: A retired primary school teacher was shot to death by miscreants in Sherkhali Bazar area under Kotchandpur upazila of the district on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Janab Ali Master, 60, resident of the upazila.
Police sources said that a gang of miscreants shot Ali to death on the spot in Sherkhali Bazar area around 8:30pm while he was taking tea in a tea-stall.
Kotchandpur Thana Officer-in-Charge Saidul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
